Our trainings and continued professional development are for all shapes, sizes and abilities. They are for those who are curious to put their personal experience aside and be very interested in the experience of others. We dive deep into anatomy looking at differing body proportions and skeletal (bone structure & posture) variations and considering how this changes location and sensation of differing yoga asana and how this may impact how we cue, offer props, modifications and alternate asana. We study physiology and relationship between movement, breath, rest and physiological body processes and mindfulness practices. We'll consider embyrology and gesture and how this can inform yoga practices. We carefully choose language and gesture, listening to how this influences what our colleagues notice and feel. We'll use MFR tools to heighten our proprioceptive awareness whilst experiencing embodied anatomy training & asana exploration.
Our methods are fun, engaging and interactive which can't help but inspire curiosity, interest and retention of content and an eagerness to be of service and apply this learning with loved ones. The practicums offer the benefit of honest feedback (the rare feedback students often don't give) - "before the practice I felt this, after I felt that" "when you said x, I felt y" which you will receive from your small training group.
Expect to develop a vast understanding of the human body and asana, props, modifications, alternatives and language to assist you empower students to an empowered practice. You will receive a plethora of sequencing ideas and teaching skills and will be supported by our team and your online student community
If you are after a training that offers you a set script and sequence, minimal interaction or interest in the experience of the students then this is not the training for you... this training is for those thirsty to understand human experience and inspire and empower human connection and heartfelt practices.
